Ross Heintzkill was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin, attended high school in Los Angeles, lived a year in Clearwater, Florida, and graduated college from Ripon, Wisconsin.
After receiving a B.S. in National Security Studies, Heintzkill took the logical step following the earning of that degree and moved to small-town Montana to learn website development from high school friend Ashton Sanders.
Heintzkill's deepest love is for travel: he's lived and studied in Florence, London and a summer in a castle in Scotland in addition to life in the States. He's tried his hand at photography on his trips; he's a thespian and singer in addition to a political academic. Heintzkill doesn't live, "Jack of all trades, master of none" quite as much as, "I'm just along for the ride."
Unlike some other members of the Websites in a Flash development team, Ross Heintzkill can grow a pretty rocking beard.
